Airport in Gaza with Saudi money is a bad ideaReader comment on item: Breaking the Palestinians' Will to Fight Submitted by Prashant, Apr 13, 2017 at 23:38 Dear Dr Pipes, The island port for Gazans with Saudi money is a bad idea. Segregation of any kind is unsustainable. I still like my idea (based on Dabanjan Banerjee's original idea) more: about 1% of Saudi land should be bought by Israel (or donated by Saudi Arabia to Israel) in a tripartite solution involving Israel, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Israel is a modern country with too little land. Saudi Arabia is a country with too much unproductive land. Some land transfer from Saudi Arabia to Israel will do everyone some good. Instead of donating money for an airport in Gaza, KSA should donate some land. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
