Dr. Pipes:

thank you for your comment. We are in agreement. What you describe as fantasy is actually the result of suffering from post ictal psychosis which @ 7-9% of untreated epileptics get. Dostoyevsky said that Mohammed believed his episodes were reality. Dostoyevsky looked forward to his own episodes so I won't get into the details of his variation of this disease.

Another side effect is the very serious limitation on being able to father children. My book discusses that, as well as other issues.

I look forward to reading more of your articles.
