Replies to Debanjan Banerjee's questionsReader comment on item: Why Palestinian Delusions Persist Submitted by Prashant, Jan 20, 2018 at 15:52 Dear Dr Pipes, Our resident Islamic apologist Mr Debanjan Banerjee asks three questions about Trump's decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem. Here are my answers: 1. Will you vote for Trump after he accepted Israeli occupation of Al-Quds ? Of course. If possible and legal, I will give Trump two votes or ten votes. Jerusalem is a Jewish city and it has nothing to do with Islam. If Muslims start calling Benaras, Al-whatever, it will not become a Muslim city. Will it? Same is true for Jerusalem. Got it Mr Banerjee? Islamic dreams and circular logic are just those. They do not define the reality. And, yes, Mr Banerjee, Islam also has nothing to do with Cordoba, 2. What will Israel will do to the Palestinians who are opposed to that Trump move ? Whatever it does will be better than whatever Muslims do to the others. Think Yezidi here. 3. What will happen to Muslims and Christians in the holy land after this Trump declaration ? Do not paint Muslims and Christians with the same brush. Christians will coexist with Jews, do new collaborative research in technology, sciences and the arts. Muslims is a different story. Their main vocation is land-grabbing. They will keep trying to prove that Israel must become entirely Islamic and Jews should disappear. I do not know what will happen to Muslims.
