the ever growing Palestinian-countReader comment on item: Why Palestinian Delusions Persist Submitted by myth (Germany), Nov 20, 2017 at 12:49 There is an article on this website which follows how the circle that defines Palestinian refugees is drawn ever wider. This leads to an ever growing Palestinian count. This constituency of people, many of whom were born in Europe, is both large and international. I see this is as a mini-Pan-Arab movement. These over-counted Palestinians-of-choice are a fourth contribution to the delusion. These make the Palestinian side believe they are very strong in number, which in fact they are not. By that I mean that even if Israel disappears and there's a some Palestine Wonderland, those sort-of-Palestinians in the West would stay right there in the West. What is real however is the involvement of all those Western people working for organisations supporting the Palestinians-by-choice. Should the Palestine-dellusion crumble, they would simply lose their jobs. Western organisations do have an interest in feeding the delusion.
