BorisG and TrumpReader comment on item: Why I Am Not a Populist Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Feb 23, 2020 at 15:34 BorisG, What the US and the West are facing is a confrontation between "Globalism and Localism" and it seems that Trump won because he is a "Localist" and not a globalist. This is not unlike Brexit. The British people don't want globalism Remember, politics is local first and foremost. People care about health care, jobs, infrastructure, crime, education, they want their sons and daughters not to participate in useless wars in far away places. And this is what globalists do not understand and this is why he will win again in 2020 I voted for Bernie in the primaries in 2016 (BTW Bernie is a populist/localist and not a globalist). But I do not plan to vote for him if he becomes the Democrat nominee. Yes, I'm a #NeverHillary and the coward allowed her to become the nominee and we know what happened Would I vote for Trump?
