Prashant: Islam and the regressive left! Islam and the Yazidis

If we go and tell the Yazidis that "Islam is the religion of peace", they would think that we are crazy. And Q8:12 is no more than another example of why Islam is not a religion of peace.

The worst verse in the Qur'an, that led to the murder of millions of human beings that were not Muslims (80 million Hindus murdered, raped and enslaved over a period of 500 years) is Ayat al-Sayf or the sword verse or Q9:5 where the god of Islam tells his followers to "Slay the idolaters" but who are really the idolaters? The god of the Qur'an does not tell us but in short any non Muslim is an idolater. And when Muslims are asked: Then why is monotheism good and polytheism bad? you will never get an answer

Enter the worst president in my life time, Barack Hussein Obama and his sugar coating of Islam, in my opinion, led to making a bogus word "Islamophobia" as a way to tarnish anyone who is critical of an ideology called Islam. After all how can Saint Obama be wrong?

And now we have the regressive left supporting Islam! Oh Islamic misogyny, homophobia, Transphobia, female genital mutilation, child marriages, cruelty to animals, Christianity and Hindu phobia, ugly antisemitism, disparaging of other religions, persecution of ex-Muslims and "Genocides'" and the latest was the Yazidi Genocide, non of this is criticized or even mentioned. All of this is never mentioned by members of the regressive left and anyone who is critical of Islam is asked: "Why do you hate Muslims"? Only sick people would hate all Muslims. It is the other way around, some evil Muslims hate us non Muslims and most Muslims remain silent.

Last, I just cannot understand why would 1.8 billion Muslims be regarded as "Protected Group" and should be immune from criticism and in the meantime the Yazidis are not even mentioned.
