Mr.Tovey your point is well-taken and as they say, History has a way of rhyming if not exactly repeating itself. Things are never exactly the same and each era needs to be evaluated in its own context. Jews in Germany and elsewhere may not be interested in Aliyah but the option of Alyah is there for them if needed, unlike in the past. In fact, as ironic as it sounds Aliyah may be the Final Solution for all Jews in the end run.
