ReturnReader comment on item: Germany's Jewish Leadership vs. Israel Submitted by Leonard Oken (United States), Sep 15, 2021 at 18:51 Dear Mr.Tovey -I am not a Torah Scholar so excuse me for my ignorance however it appears to me that the prophecy of not all Jews coming to Eretz Yisroel has already been fulfilled. Since the birth of the modern State of Israel assimilation has occurred and is occurring this very day as we speak. They are not coming and will not come to Eretz Yisrael. I beg to differ with you in regards to what Jews thought through the ages regarding returning to their homeland, the Holy Land of Israel. When things got bad in the places they lived you bet your bottom dollar they wished to return to their homeland. Understandably looking at History, Jews understood it would take a miracle for that to happen with powerful Christian and Muslim populations inhabiting this land. So they looked to the Messiah to bring about this miracle.Apparently, eventually, one was not needed as the Jewish people acting under the guise of Zionism brought about their own miracle certainly with the help of sympathetic allies. The remnant which originally came as you call them has grown to be half the population of Jews around the world for many reasons most important is Demographics. That Jews in foreign lands do not want to increase their Demographics is no reason for Israelis not to. Certainly, if we understand the meaning of Pikuach Nefesh it would be a mitzvah to accept any or all German Jews to Israel and it would be a greater mitzvah for them to come. They are after all part and parcel of the "remnan"t that you speak of..
