Jewish slaves in the 20th century

I'm having difficulty squaring your discussion of slavery in central Europe in the mid-20th century with your claim that the USA was the last place to abolish slavery.

I think the answer is provided in the 13th and 14th amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

By the way, that Catholic Austrian rather rethought his Catholicism at some point along the line. Some Catholic priests were thrown into concentration camps where they were murdered along with Jews and Gypsies.
