Sara:Your statements suggest that Wesley Clark knows more about islam, quran , hadith and islam's extremely violent history than you do.

But then most muslims think like you think, that islam is the religion of peace and that Quran preaches brotherhood and that islam was spread by love.That is probably what your western imam told you and that is probably what you read in the books written by the modern apologists..You cannot blame them. Their bread and influence depends on your iman.If they told the truth, mosque attendance will dwindle.

I suggest you go on ex-muslim's websites like faithfreedom.org, islam-watch.org, apostatesofislam.com, secularislam.org, vinnomot.com,etc and find out the truth, because ex-muslims will be the only ones who will tell you the truth.
They were born into it and they have studied it with passion before leaving it. Read books like "Islam, an Arab imperialism" and "faith and deception" by Anwar Shaikh, "Why I am not a muslim" and" Leaving Islam" by Dr.Warraq and "23 Years of Prophethood" by Dr Ali Dashti, all born muslim scholars. If you want to understand quran based on hadiths and sira , read Prophet of Doom (prophetofdoom.net).

Please read about the daily activities of religion of peace on "thereligionofpeace.com" and "jihadwatch.org". Excellent websites visited by millions.

Your referred bizzare, barabric extremist muslims (like Bin Laden, Zawahiri, Jamat e Islami, Wahabis, salafis ,talibans, Abu Musab Zarkawi, all suicide bombers) know the real islam, you dont. They spent their lives in Madrasahs reading quran, hadiths and siras where as you have never seen the inside of the Madarasah.

Do you know that a muslim cannot even think for himself and cannot change his religion of birth because quran says:

and Mohammed said
Bukhari:V4B52N260 "The Prophet said, ‘If a Muslim discards his religion, kill him.'"
