VICTORY AT ALL COSTSReader comment on item: Tempering Ambitions [in Iraq] Submitted by Jackdaw (United States), Nov 11, 2006 at 17:55 Withdrawing our armed forces from Iraq will exponentially embolden every terrorist and would be terrorist in the world to follow our troops home. Enemy testosterone and moral will have never been higher. What Iraq is now, with daily IED casualties, snipers, gangster militias and targeted politicians etc. will become daily fare in America. Add to the mix suicide bombers, car bombs, sophisticated surface to air shoulder fired missils, Russian tank killing RPGs, ever more efficatious and deadly WMDs being smuggled into the United States. Hamas has the numbers, the man power here, in America, now. Britain is overwelmed with the exponentially increasing number of Muslim terrorists being home grown, radicalized Muslim Brits seeking America's destrucion. It is wrong headed to "temper" America's response to the Iraqi challenge. This is not a matter of definitions and crafted semantics. There is no substitue for Victory. Victory is when all the enemy is killed or eliminated. Victory will accomplish all of our goals: to plant a viable, sustainable democracy in Iraq as a counter weight to the influence of Iran and Syria. Victory in Iraq will likely bring regiem change in Iran, Syria, and Lebanon. Victory in Iraq will pacify the Middle East. As a former Marine Vietnam Vet, i have seen this senario before. American is loosing the will to fight. If a nation loses the will to kill massive amounts of the enemy ruthlessly (without excessive concern for ostensively innocent civilians) and kill for as long as it takes and as many lives as it takes with as much treasure as it takes, that nation is already defeated. HERE IS MY RECOMMENDATION. Only one half of one percent of the American population is engaging the enemy, the President should call the nation's sons, daughters, parents and citizens to bear the sacrifice. To volunteer in huge numbers for the armed forces. Every citizen should be doing something to further Victory by supporting our fighting men and women. The forces in Iraq should be ramped up to 400,000 and every militia should be destroyed starting with Mutada Al Sadr himself. America should partner with Israel and attack Iran as quickly as possible. THE UNITED STATES SHOULD USE TACTICAL NUCLEAR WEAPONS ON IRAN. THERE NO LONGER SHOULD BE RETICENCE TO USE NUCLEAR WEAPONS BECAUSE THEY WILL ABSOLUTELY BE USED ON THE UNITED STATES IN THE NEAR FUTURE. ALL THE MIDDLE EASTERN COUNRIES ARE NOW PURSUING NUCLEAR WEAPONS. IF THE U.S. USES THEM FIRST, AS IN NAGASAKI AND HIROSHIMA, THE WORLD WILL NOT PURSUE NUCLEAR WEAPONS. OUR FRIENDS WILL SEE NO NEED AND OUR ENEMIES WILL FEAR TO PROVOKE US. NUCLEAR WEAPONS ARE IN THE FUTURE OF THE UNITED STATES, EITHER WE WILL USE THEM ON OUR ENEMIES OR THEY WILL USE THEM ON THE UNITED STATES. THAT IS THE POST 911 REALITY WE ARE NOW IN.
