You're not alone.Reader comment on item: Tempering Ambitions [in Iraq] Submitted by Kevin M (United States), Nov 16, 2006 at 11:55 GWB is hardly the most cuddly excuse of a prez we have ever had, but, yes, he was right to invade Iraq. Consider this: No WMDs found? What silly schmuck thought we would find any, anyway?! Would 10,000 50-gallon drums of Sarin constitute "WE FOUND WMDs!!"? I would imagine so. Now take out your car keys. Go to a city of 25,000 people and take a week to hide them good and deep. Tell 30 people (2 of whom are trained to find WMDs and the rest are being shot at), and give them a week to find the keys. Not surprised they are still hidden? Think about how big Iraq is, how easily you can bury 10,000 drums 200-feet underground, mark the spot with GPS coordinates and then watch the sissy liberals and their God, Michael "Big Mac" Moore scream about how there weren't any. The average American feeds on MSM pap and thinks him/herself an expert on foreign policy. No, Iraq is not the success we all wanted, but at least Saddam will soon be swinging from a rope. GWB was right. He just isn't sugar-frosted enough to get credit for it.
