Islam needs some serious soul searching

Apologetics cannot negate reality. Militant Islam is not a fringe phenomenon. Indeed it is estimated that about 20% of the world's 1.3 billion Muslims are of the militant Islamist bent. There has got to be something very wrong with the followers of a religion who reflect this kind of antisocial pathology in such frighteningly large numbers. One thousand Muslim clerics, those who define Islam today, advised Mullah Omar to go to war with America rather than hand over Osama bin Laden. "By its fruits shall ye know it."
