I also believe that militant islam is not a fringe or extremist movement. Rather it is the mainstream of Islamic thought in the 21st century. Western society has played a cruel trick on us by structurally ignoring the threat of Islam following World War II in order to insure the essential oil supply.

The message of the airliners of 911 was multi-faceted. The image evokes memories of the early Muslims spreading Islam with their swift horses and sharp swords. The planes represented the sword of Islam, able to strike at the heart of it's enemies.

The message was also to modernist Muslims who dare to question the fundamentalist Imams . Islam is prepared to strike down not only the Jew and Christian infidel, but also those liberal Muslims who threaten to dilute the culture and values of Islamic society with their modernist views.

Islamic modernists need to wake up to the fact that Islam has no place for them except the grave. There are many Christian and Jewish sects that would welcome these people in their fold and nurture their spiritual needs far better than the Imams.
