Following are excerpts from a public address delivered by Indian cleric Ashraf Mohamedy, which aired on Peace TV on April 22, 2008:

"Allah Has Instructed Us to Follow the Hijab, So That Women Can Be Saved From Rape And Molestation"

Ashraf Mohamedy: "There are two twin sisters who are equally identical and equally good looking, and they are walking down the street. At the corner there is a hooligan waiting for a catch, waiting to tease someone. One of the sisters is putting on the Islamic hijab, that is, covering herself completely, except for the face and the hands up to the wrist, and the other sister is dressed in a miniskirt.

"Who is the hooligan going to tease - the sister in the hijab or the one in the miniskirt? Of course he will tease the sister in the miniskirt!

"Allah has instructed us to follow the hijab, so that women can be saved from rape and molestation. In Islam, there is capital punishment for the rapist. Whenever we say this to non-Muslim brothers, they react by saying that Islam is a cruel law, that it is a barbaric law. But believe me, Islamic law gets results.

"We have asked a question to several people. We say that if someone, God forbid, rapes your sister, rapes your wife, rapes your daughter - and you are made the judge, and if the rapist is brought before you, you are meant to give punishment - what would you do? Most of the people said: 'We will put him to death.' Some went to the extent of saying that we will torture him to death. When it comes to your sisters and your daughters, you want to put the rapist to death. Then why do you have double standards when Islam is concerned?"

"If Islamic Shari'a Is Applied In America... [The Crime Rate] Will Come Down"

"Western society, in the name of women's liberalization, has exploited the body of the woman, has degraded her soul, and has deprived her of her honor. They have converted women into mistresses, concubines, and society butterflies, who are mere tools in the hands of sex marketers and pleasure seekers.

"In America, according to statistics of the FBI, in 1990, the cases of rape were 1,750, and later on, 1,900. The Americans got a bit bolder. The latest statistics, of 1996, say that now the rate has gone up to 2,117 rapes taking place every day.

"If the Islamic shari'a is applied in America, if every man, whenever he sees a woman, would lower his gaze, if every woman is asked to cover herself completely, except for the face and hands up to the wrist, and if there is capital punishment for the rapist - will the rate of crime go up, remain the same, or come down in America? Of course it will come down! Islam gives dignity and protection to the women in Islam, and that is just the reason why Islam has prescribed the hijab." [...]

"Every Muslim Should Be Proud to Be a Fundamentalist Muslim"

"Another misconception among non-Muslim brothers and sisters is that Muslims are fundamentalists and terrorists. They say and allege that you are terrorists and fundamentalists. Let's analyze the meaning of fundamentalism. If a person wants to be a good doctor, then he should know, he should follow, and should practice the teachings of medicine. In other words, he should be a fundamentalist in the field of medicine.

"If a person wants to be a very good scientist, he should know, he should follow, and he should practice the teachings of science. In other words, he should be a fundamentalist in the field of science. Similarly, if a person wants to be a good mathematician, he should know, he should follow, and he should practice the teachings of mathematics. In other words, he should be fundamentalist in the field of mathematics.

"We cannot paint all fundamentalists with the same brush, for a fundamentalist robber causes harm to the society, and that is highly disagreed upon. That is highly irresponsible. But at the same time, a fundamentalist doctor causes good in society. He cures and he heals, and he is much desired by society.

"I am proud to be a fundamentalist Muslim, because I know, I follow, and I strive to practice the teachings of Islam. Every Muslim should be proud to be a fundamentalist Muslim. That is because none of the teachings of Islam causes any harm to society. On the contrary, it causes.... it gives benefits to society. On the basis of this knowledge, every Muslim should be proud to be a fundamentalist Muslim." [...]

"I Repeat: Every Muslim Should Be a Terrorist"

"I would stress that every Muslim should be a terrorist. I repeat: Every Muslim should be a terrorist. A terrorist is a person who terrifies others, who terrorizes others. That is precisely the reason we have the police. As soon as the robber sees the policeman, he is terrified, he is terrorized. Similarly, the Muslims should terrorize the anti-social elements in society. He should terrorize the robber, the decoy, the rapist. I know that 'terrorist' is taken as a concept of a person who terrorizes the common man. But we Muslims should be terrorists for the anti-social elements in society."

2. My Take:

A myth has been born among the Moslems, especially those of Ashraf Mohamedy's thinking, about the infallibility of Islamic laws ( Allah's laws ). Moslems looks upon Allah's ( and Hazrat Mohammad's ) laws as their guide. If Allah is faultless & flawless, then how come there is more crime & foul-play, against women in Islamic countries, than in Non-Islamic countries. In spite of this material proof, Moslems are not willing to concede that, the very idea of Allah's laws is a terrible mistake, and that Allah's laws create problems, instead of solving them. Allah's laws have brought nothing but ill-fortune & downfall of the Moslem women.

3. A glance at the family dynamics of Islam, unmasks the terrible reality that, a Moslem woman who is happy & secure in a Moslem marriage, is very rare & extra-ordinarily lucky. Why ?

Because Islam allows women only one husband, but men up to four wives, clearly a dynamics of gender-inequality. This inequality has devastating impact on the structure & loyalty of a Moslem family. The tragedies that have befallen, from this un-equal right ( accorded by Allah & practised by Hazrat Mohammad ) are beyond description.

4. Islam asks men to be fair & just among the four wives. But because of the permission to men of loyalty to four wives ( at man's understanding & justification ), tragedy comes very quickly, because women always distrust their husbands. The distrust extends to other women, any one of whom could become an eligible bachelorette for the husband. In the back of the woman's mind, there is a always fear, because she cannot demand her husband's loyalty to herself alone.

Consequently, there is always fear of envy & evil eye in Moslem marriages. Moslem men often keep their first wife, in the dark about the second wife. Often his own family & his close friends, cover it up for him. After all, it is Allah's laws, & they are doing a religious service, by supporting this kind of surreptitious action. If this is not a custom of pre-literate, tribal era, then what the hell is it ?

5. Ashraf Mohamedy says that if Islamic Sharia is applied in America, then crime will come down in America.

What makes Ashraf Mohamedy fabricate such an ill-advised blue-print of action for the USA, even if it reduced crime in America, which it will not. Why USA would block out any decency & sense of justice & fair play, from its legal system, and put millions of American women in shackles of Sharia laws, and emasculate their freedoms & civil rights ?

America not only desires liberty & equality for its own women, it desires women in Islamic countries to pull away from the bondage & confinement of religious laws of Islam. The jollity of Ashraf Mohamedy's fuzzy thinking, does not have much appeal, to a high-tech & free society of the US.

6. Ashraf Mohamedy's quote: Every Moslem should be proud to be a fundamentalist Moslem.

COMMENT: Ashraf's analogies are totally out of focus.

Actions speak louder than words, and record of Fundamentalist Moslems, gives inside information about the ideological blindness of Ashraf's thinking. He has failed to notice the violent waves of imperialism, of the Fundamentalist Moslems, that have surged around the world for centuries. Even at this point in time, the Fundamentalist Moslems, plan to capture the world for their Allah, by the right of conquest.

In our own time, almost all riots, any where in the world, are started by Fundamentalist Moslems.

7. If every Moslem follows the suggestion of Ashraf Mohamedy, becomes a Fundamentalist Moslem, and becomes proud of his moronic actions, then it would wreak catastrophic havoc, on the lives & fortunes of millions of humanity.

Ashraf Mohamedy suggestion is an Ominous & Dangerous Threat.

8. Ashraf Mohamedy's quote:
"I Repeat: Every Muslim Should Be a Terrorist"

Ashraf claims that Islam should be & is a terrorist for the anti-social elements of the society.

COMMENT: That is what the Moslems want you to believe Islam is, but that is Not what Islam is.

The vast number of Moslem chronicles, of the fiendish deeds of Islamic raiders, for over 1400 years, and the sickening tale of unrelieved & uninterrupted tyranny, torture, brutality, and barbarism of Islam, is a factual record of what Islam is.
