Salah Ali's FallacyReader comment on item: A History of Muslim Terrorism against Jews in the United States Submitted by Tziona, UK (United Kingdom), May 24, 2009 at 10:08 Salah Ali tells a story of how his own father persecuted and robbed Jews and then said: "I conclude from the story that there had been an israeli or say Zionist order to fill Palestine with Jews who reluctantly left their original home in Iraq." Errr, no, they fled Iraq because of people like Salah and his father. His father persecuted Jews and Salah, instead of seeing the obvious blames "the Zionists". This is typical Muslim denial; Islam does not equip it's adherants for honest introspection. He then says: "The Jewry in the Middle East are all remnant of the Ottoman Empire where they lived as neighbours to Moslems, Christians of all sects and Torcomen. Islam itself was tolerant as many Jewish scholars prospered in Islamdom and contributed to Islamic sciens , the Maimonides are an example" Again, no, the Jews are native to Middle East, Abraham the first Hebrew was born in what is now Iraq (but he was neither Arab nor Muslim). The Jews of Iraq lived there for 2500+ years trace their roots back to the destruction of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem by the Persians, long before there was any Christianity, Islam, or Ottoman Empire. And long before Iraq was conquered by the Arabs. Arabs, it should be noted, are not native to Iraq but are foreigners who conquered, Arabized and Islamized the land, just as they did in Palestine. What the Arabs stole by the sword will eventually be returned to its rightful owners. As for Maimonides, Salah Ali clearly doesn't know his history, rather than Muslims tolerating him, Maimonides had to flee for his life to Morocco from the persecution of Spanish Muslims, then from the persecution of Moroccan Muslims before he eventually found a peaceful existance under a not-so-religious ruler of Egypt.
