The Denial of MuslimasReader comment on item: Mahram Despotism vs. Saudi Women Submitted by Susan (United States), Jul 20, 2009 at 00:55 I wonder sometimes where Muslim women get their information about their own religion since they constantly dispute so many of Islam's oppressive tenets related to females. I realize that there are varied interpretations of the Qur'an and Islamic law but the differences are so minute as to be irrelevant. I just love the toned-down version of how to beat one's wife----with a toothpick. As most informed people know, muslim husbands are not the least bit reluctant to beat the hell out of their wives with their bare hands and with complete impunity. Islamic law permits parents to kill their children; life has little meaning to Muslims except when Muslims are the victims of infidel genocide, which occurs continuously and on a global scale according to Muslim conspiracy theorists. But back to Muslim women. Muslim women are chattel just like livestock. They are fungible commodities subject to total devaluation at any time. . When they become worthless or are perceived to have dishonored the family name, they are either killed or discarded. Loving sons will slit their mothers' throats with no compunction whatsoever; fathers will smother their daughters; brothers will stab their sisters to death; uncles will behead their nieces. After they dispose of the offensive female, the family celebrates the restoration of their "honor". I don't see much hope for these poor souls because they are complicit in their own enslavement. As long as they defend Islam and deny that it is responsible for their miserable plight, they will remain slaves.
