Our dear Deb and the subject of the so called sacrifice and othere sordid mattersReader comment on item: Accepting Israel as the Jewish State[: Public Opinion in Four Arab Countries] Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Jun 20, 2010 at 07:50 It seems that our dear deb is not aware that the Qur'an does not tell us which one is the subject of this nonsense called the sacrifice but if so then you are ignorant our dear Deb! or he really knows but in this case this would be a lie so which one is it our dear deb? For the readers: The Qur'an does not tell us if it is Ismael or Ishaq. Oh this insecure sky God But again that did not stop the ulama from guessing and early on there was a debate about the subject of this barbarity is it Ishaq or not? and the question was not if it is Ishaq aw Isma3eel as it was assumed to be Ishaq The name of Ismael as the subject of the sacrifice and in the words of Suliman Bashear (see Abraham's sacrifice of his son and related matters and also see Ignaz Godlziher Islamic Studies) is "in itself the impressively long list of mainly late scholars and commentators who favored Ismael confirms Goldziher's note that this view eventually emerged victorious." And the final choice of the subejct of the sacrifice as being Ismael can be dated to the 3 rd century of Islam And then he adds: "in view of the present study however one must immediately add that such victory was facilitated only as part of the general process of promoting the position of Mecca as the cultic center of Islam" as the Umayyads wanted their cultic center to be early on kanisat Yuhanna al-mi3midani in Damascus and later on Ibd al-Malik's little Byzantine Church now called al-masjad al-aqsa so even the cultic center of Islam in Mecca is a very late creation Mecca? It is the creation of the 3Abbassids So you see the 3Abbassids wanted the cutlic center of the then emerging new religion called islam to be far away in Mecca and away from the watchful eyes of the Jews and Nestorians and all the old religions of the Middle East but they also wanted to have a link to the Biblical Ibrahim! and this was one more step in the Hijazi orientation of the religion of the Arabs and in the porcess selected Isma3eel as the subject of this barbarity in-order to detach themselves and to re-affirm the Hijazi origin of Islam Oh the word al-muhajiruun (read this as Arabs early on and Greek Moagaritoi and Syriac Mhgraye) has nothing to do with Hagar or isma3eel >Kindly tell me otherwise how it is possible that Almighty LORD is not impartial regarding Ishmael and Isaac ? And kindly tell us how is it possible that the so called lord the single and sky god that it is not impartial to his own creation and in this case your hindu ancestors that were brutalized by Islam? any guesses?
