Accepting Israel's Exceptional Status Before Almighty God - America Does Not Replace Israel

In your efforts to assign blame to all of the world's ills upon the 'great' Satan, you have conveniently forgotten that America, who is not the 'great Satan,' is less than three hundred years old (how old is India-Iran-Afghanistan and how old are their long running historical antagonisms-way before there was an America). So, like so many others, you have fallen in the trap of placing blame conveniently upon others in order to disguise your (collectively, the entire mindset) own culpability. Further, in trying to assign the label of evangelical Christian to the entire American mainstream religious establishment, your blindness to the truth of what is going on is further established. So be it. Your line of logic is easily seen and the diatribe you follow in order to justify your beliefs categorize why you cannot understand what is truly happening in the world.

As for support on the war of Afghanistan, Iraq, or Iran, if these countries had decried the attack on America in the name of jihad and gave up the conspirators that survived in their cowardice for allowing the dead perpetrators go alone into their destiny, then the American response, much the same as the response against the Japanese in World War Two, may have taken a different tact. But in the images of the Muslim world that gave adoration to those who were killed in their act against America are compelling, that the hatred for things American, just as expressed recently by the New York times Square attacker, is sufficient for adopting a defensive stance against all comers. In that the American military is able to take the battle to the supporting agencies in the above named countries, did anyone of those who so hate America think that it was not coming back to bite them?

As to the response of the American religious community regarding the tragedy in Bhopal, I suspect you have conveniently forgotten the aid sent by the organizations many of those you are trying to besmirch. Nevertheless, in your furtherance of trying to make out an argument that the Hebrew Holy Bible is anything more than what Jesus Christ says that it is shows the corrupted influence you are trying to establish, unsuccessfully, against the belief and faith that true Christianity has in the events that are happening right in front of your face. Too bad, for an unfortunate circumstance is about to befall the Middle East and south Asia, and the reluctance of many to understand what is about to happen will not find them prepared.

Because your jaded perspective of true Christianity has blinded you to its truth, you make assertions that defeat your ill-advised attempt to castigate those whom you evidently hate. I seriously doubt you have read anything appropriate or factual regarding the actual faith and beliefs of those to whom you would allege are insincere, and since I follow Jesus Christ and am not a member of any of their congregations, I would refrain from making the same mistake without having that information.

Now, as to 'American Exceptionalism,' while it is conclusive that America was founded on a set of principles based upon the beliefs of those who helped form this country, only in the process of trying to make America out to be something it is not does any who hold to that ideology think America has any better standing than any other country; further that as America was founded upon Biblical principles, so too, will fall if those principles are forsaken, just as any other nation in history. The only nation that does have eternal exceptional status is (surprise), Israel. And if any who claim Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior do not think it is so, they need to reread their Hebrew Holy Bible, for Jesus Christ has said, 'IT IS SO!'

So, therefore, to say that the Hebrew Holy Bible is the basis for 'American Exceptionalism' is wrong; but the Hebrew Holy Bible is the basis for America's short time in history to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His love, and as long as that is/was happening, there were blessings, just as there are blessings for America's tentative support for Israel. When that's gone, then everybody will get to find out just how exceptional Israel is to her Almighty God. Wait for it; it's about to surprise quite a few who thought they knew better.
