Israel HAS a policyReader comment on item: Daniel Pipes: 'Israel Has No Policy' Submitted by There is NO Santa Claus (United States), Dec 13, 2010 at 08:18 Israel has a policy: exist as a Jewish National Home and accept Jews as citizen/immigrants. The problem as I see it is this: in order to build a Jewish homeland, Jews have to be able to build homes. It shouldn't surprise us that the biggest gripe against Israel is that it builds homes for Jews. The United States has been doing its best to thwart Israel's homebuilding efforts on behalf of the Saudi-dominated OPEC lobby. I think Israel finally has a government that has stood up to this pressure after a strategic concession to freeze "settlement" building for 9 months. The 9 month freeze demonstrated to all what we already knew about the PA's willingness to negotiate peace. This seems all quite clear to me, Dr. Pipes. Israel has a policy.
