Policy of Survival a Reality of FactReader comment on item: Daniel Pipes: 'Israel Has No Policy' Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Dec 14, 2010 at 19:11 While there may be a sense, or more imperceptibly, a lack of a sense of Israeli policy in the scrambling the Jewish State must go through just to keep ahead of their many and various enemies, one might take a look at the historical notebook a little closer and realize that there has been one overrunning policy that is always in view, whether in the forefront, or in retrospect. That is: this nation intends to survive. Whether there are many or any that still think this is a viable mindset, remains to be seen. Yet, Israel survives. Now this reader has and always contended on the Biblical perspective that not only will Israel continue to survive, but will do so in great fashion, much to the dismay and utter disbelief of so many. One only need look at Israel's tenacity for the last sixty-plus years or so and come to a realization that what has been accomplished has been prophesied so long ago; and more is yet to come. If Israel needs to attach itself to a standing policy (if it is not one already), it is to maintain its sovereignty and survive in the face of the adversities until such time as the remaining Biblical imperatives spoken of so long ago are accomplished. From then on, all policy will be manifest from the center of Israel's new political structure, and there will not be any that will be able to oppose it.
