Israel/Palestine compared to United States/MexicoReader comment on item: A Turning Point in the Arab-Israeli Conflict? Submitted by messenger (United States), May 16, 2011 at 20:04 Isn't it telling that, the same tactic is used by Mexico, against the United States? Mexico has been, and is quick to notify, they will imprison illegals there. They (Mexico) have erected a wall along their Southern border to keep undesirables out (their words, BTW!). Yet, have the collosal nerve, to claim racism and prejudice when we object to them doing the very thing here. Israel should do what it needs to do to protect itself. As should we from the economic drain caused my Mexico sending it's people here. I've heard that many of Israel's neighbors (enemies at it were) protest that they were punished because of the Holocaust. It is no secret Hitler has a close association with leaders in the MId East during WWII, and, that they shared a common goal of the extinction of Jews. Wars re-write borders. It is a fact, and Palestine/Israel was no exception. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
