PrashantReader comment on item: A Turning Point in the Arab-Israeli Conflict? Submitted by Debanjan Banerjee (India), Jun 4, 2011 at 05:12 Dear Prashant, What Islamist violence are you talking about man ? Do the maths. In the last ten years the Israelis have killed ten to 15 times more Palestinians in every possible sort of way. That killing includes the blockade as well as daily repression posed by Israeli colonists (whom you people call settlers) in the territories of the West Bank. You can not deny the fact that Israel has been provided with the best intelligence and most advanced weapons of the millenium thanks to the lavish aid it has received from its diaspora all over the world. This has helped Israel to exist I must also say that the Muslims in the area have never ever tried to seriously defeat the Israelis. They have always been more nationalsitic and selfish than being hard-core Islamists. Muslims have never ever tried the tactics of divide-and-rule among the Zionists. It is the time that they do it. There are a lot of tention in Israel between the ultra-orthodox and the secular , progressive ones (the ones who has built all those technologies that you have rightly mentioned). The Muslims should use this opportunity. They should offer the secular ones the opportunity to continue to rule the wholy land on behalf of Ummah just under one condition, The secular , hard-working , progressive Israelis should embrace Islam and then the Palestinians (the local Muslims in the areas) would be their allies in their struggle against the ultra-orthodox. To me the real threat to Isreal's existence are not the Muslims or Islamists or Hamas , Hezbollah , Iran or Turkey. The real threat to Israel's existence comes from ultra-orthodox , Islam-hating and secularity-hating Jews. The only way Israel can survive is that if the real Jews i,e. the secular Zionsts join their hands with Hamas and other Muslims by embracing Islam and with the rest of the Islamic Ummah. This is the way Zionists can triumph all their obstacles to survival. I propose that Israeli secular progressives become Muslims and join with the rest of the Ummah. Since they are the most intelligent and talented and rational as you mention they would still be in a leadership position in the ISlamic world even after their embracing of the Islam. And with them joining Muslims as fellow believers they can easily destroy those ultra-orthodox , Islam-hating Jews and then the newly-Muslim secular Jews in Israel can very easily influence the evangelists in USA for turning to Islam also. Then there is no one to stop the march to perpetual glory to these newly-Muslim progressive Jews. My request to you Prashant is to give me your feedback about this proposal and then spread this idea around the World. Take care Debanjan Submitting....
