the Christian exodus will cause more and more Muslim extremistsReader comment on item: Disappearing Christians in the Middle East Submitted by Baskinta (United Arab Emirates), Apr 30, 2012 at 07:16 Christian presence in the middle east, if the only safety valve to prevent an enclosed, uncommunicative, radical middle east. Muslims in countries like Lebanon interact with Christians on a daily basis. Thus the face of the Infidel that they wished to eliminate becomes the face of their friends, of their colleagues, even their family; just as an exclusive Christian community in the west thinks all Muslims are suicide bombers, Muslims enclosed in purely Muslim communities consider Christians as infidels, the source of all bad, the lost herd that they should bring back to Islam. The religious difference between a totally muslim country & a country with Christian Muslim interaction can be clearly seen. The only way to reach a safe middle east, is by strengthening the Christian presence, Allowing Christian Muslim interaction, & providing common grounds of agreement so neither consider the other as the enemy. "Nurturing prosperous and reasonably free and secure native Christian communities in the Middle East can promote Islamic openness and moderation." Habib Malik
