Welcome back Debanjan BanerjeeReader comment on item: Disappearing Christians in the Middle East Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jan 1, 2013 at 05:49 Dear Dr Pipes, Your reader Debanjan Banerjee is back to the forum after a long period. And he is still as ignorant as ever. While commenting on the post 'Disappearing Christians in Middle East", Debanjan repeats the very tired argument that 'it is a law to treat minorities with justice and equality in Islam'. Debanjan Banerjee does not understand the magic number 98 practiced in Islamic nations: minorities are treated so well that the countries invariably become 98% muslim by population and the percentage of non-muslims dwindles to 2%. The process of very nice treatment of minorities is currently happening in Banerjee's neighborhood in Bangladesh. About two or three decades ago this process was nicely completed in Paksitan. It was very nicely completed in Turkey several centuries ago. And in Afghanistan. In Iran. In Jordan. In Syria. In most of north Africa around the same time. Debanjan's head is buried deep in the sand but he can probably realize that the process is currently underway in the Kashmir region of Banerjee's own country. And Northern Sudan. Northern Nigeria. I am amazed how well minorities are treated in Islamic states.
