It's just a yarmulka, but...

It will be interesting to see how this new coziness plays out. Will Putin start attending talmud classes in Moscow? Develop an attachment to his yarmulka and refuse to take it off? Have a Chanuka party at the Kremlin? Latkes with sour cream or apple sauce? Where will it stop? Will the Chinese Government require or expect access to the layers of Israeli security that might affect transport cargo within Israel? Then share this information with Jordan? With interested Corporate entities? Will Mr. Obama have to improve his Jewish profile to maintain his most expert status and host a Purim party on top of the Chanuka one? Read the Megillah at the White House? In Hebrew? Will Mr. Obama have to adopt the yarmulka too, to keep up? And what will the current day Persians have to say about that? Not a simple row these brave pioneers have selected to hoe.
