Ignorance, Stupid, or Worse

a government funded study has concluded that Islamism is not extremists and are misunderstood (WND July 12, 2012), that they are not out to conquer the world, that they only are defending themselves and Islam. My question is what planet does the author come from? Is he that delusional and in denial?, why does he ignore all the statements coming from Islamists about creating a global caliphate?. Well I don't believe that cow dung and will take up and evangelize Biblical Christianity any way against his advice to work with Islamists/Islamism

PS: I don't know if to laugh at such ignorance or cry at the stupidity
