Bush and Romney's myopic view of Liberty vs Tryrany the mideastReader comment on item: Romney Channels George W. Bush's Middle East Policy Submitted by David MacKAY (Canada), Oct 8, 2012 at 15:34 When first Bush and now Romney declare and/or say " the Middle East hosts a struggle between liberty and tyranny, justice and oppression, hope and despair," they state a personal incomprehension regarding Islams foundational politics that have never entertained any Judeo-Chrsitian ethics. Both Bush and Romney were incapable of seeing that Islam is incapable of accommodating Western Perceptions. No matter who is president even the admittedly pro-Islam Obama seemed perplexed when he recently stated Egypt was "neither a friend nor an enemy". For all the "Good" that America's "Political correctness" intended regarding Islam in the Middle east if not the World we are simply seeing the "Good ideas of Liberty" jettisoned in every instance. The "present" is as good as it ever became and Naive Liberal Western thinking will only try to irrationally rationalize as every bit of "Good" is thrown away day by day.
