Government schools create liberalsReader comment on item: What Is the Future of Conservatism in the Wake of the 2012 Election? Submitted by Susan (United States), Jan 3, 2013 at 10:37 If we can't make inroads within the public school system, we're doomed. American education is owned by the left, where our children are being shamelessly indoctrinated by Marxist teachers who are trained well by Marxist professors in our colleges and universities. Most parents don't have a clue what their kids are learning in kindergarten through 12th grade: to be compliant group thinkers, moral/cultural/religious relativists, and cultural Marxists. The goal of public school systems is to create good government subjects who will serve the state and its globalist, marxist agenda. This is not a far-fetched, paranoid conspiracy theory, it is a sad fact that I have witnessed firsthand as an educator. Even in the last bastion of American patriotism, fierce independence, pride in America---the South, the left-wing agenda and political correctness are becoming mainstream, at least in the schools. Individualism, independent thought, and diversity of opinion are strongly discouraged and even ridiculed or punished. Collectivism is shoved down the throats of malleable, young minds the moment they become part of a captive audience and the insidious tactics used by well-trained indoctrinators are despicable. Capitalism is presented to children as the ultimate evil, responsible for all the world's poverty and misery. History has been rewritten and students learn to hate and resent the founders of America, our Constitution, and Western Civilization. Unless drastic changes are made very soon in the way our kids are 'educated', there is no hope for the future of America. It's one thing to try to fool adults who have been exposed to alternative ideas and real facts but when all children are brainwashed beginning at age five, there is little hope of undoing the damage.
