Apologies for getting your name wrong, I just read the name you signed under. Ali Baba ain't my real name either.

Just to be clear, I've never been under the illusion that Obama is a saint, he's a politician like all others.

[Of course, which is why you continue to mock Romney and his wealth alone]

I've also mentioned that no matter which party runs the White House/Congress/etc, the corporations will always remain the big winners. They'll just win more with a Republican.

[Corporate cronyism occurs more with Democrats than Republicans, mention some ways in corporations won under Republican administrations than GE and General Motors did under Obama.Do I need reminder you that the tech boom/bust occured under Clintons watch?]

Yes, I do believe in social equality...that "...all men are created equal". Regardless of whether they are black, or white, or hispanic, or Jewish, or even God-forbid Muslim. Also notice the Constitution doesn't say all American men, therefore it applies to all nations, races, and ethnicities. I guess the Constitution itself is multicultural...well I'll be damned!

[More false equivalencies. Yes the Constitution considers men to be CREATED equal but their circumstances and abilites are determined to a large extent by the culture that they are born into. Therefore it follows that the Constitution is certainly NOT a multicultural document because if it were other cultures would have something similar.]

I think you mentioned you are a Christian. Its interesting to note that if Christ were alive today he'd have spent more time with a Chinese sweatshop worker than aboard Mitt Romney's 200 foot yacht.

[Or a caddie on Obama's more than frequent golf tours.See others can play this idiotic game as well. Your statement above reeks of utter stupidity and inanity and no one but yourself considers this bizarrely brain dead outburst "interesting"]

Perhaps you'd do well to go back and take a US history course - preferably not in the state of Texas

[Here we go with Texas bashing, I thought that was out when Bush ceased to be President-apparently not. Yes Deborah would be much bettered served taking tax payer funded Queer Hispanic studies (perhaps like yourself) and be SHOCKED SHOCKED that the 6 figure salary jobs are not forthcoming. There is only thing to do in a situation like-Occupy Wall Street!]

- and maybe then you could realize that a "democracy" and a "republic" are not mutually exclusive. Perhaps you'd be surprised to learn that the United States, is by design, a representative democracy. You vote for representatives who represent your opinions in your local/state/national Congresses. A similarly indirect vote chooses the President. Like it or not, you have an indirect say in choosing all three branches of the US government. That my friend, is rule of the people or democracy, be it a republic or whatever else. Besides, its your ideological pundits on Fox News going on ad nauseum about spreading, what? yeah DEMOCRACY in Iraq and Afghanistan so that they will be more "like us".

[You are a pyromaniac in a field of strawmen- nice of you to wander in from 2006 with your Michael Moore talking points ,now back to your time machine]
