More on Major NidalReader comment on item: Innocents Abroad Build Foreign Armies Submitted by Mark Werfel (United States), Feb 14, 2013 at 08:30 How one sees Nidal's attack goes to the heart of our awareness regarding the enemy. Senator Lieberman and Congressman King could only get the Defense Department to call it a routine workplace violence matter, resolved with more training and a regulation, instead of recognizing it as a a terrorist attack inspired by religious hatred. These attacks continue within the USA and world-wide, and we still help the attackers (settling by paroling Palestinians into the USA, who pass right through TSA employee smiles) or some want us to do so (Syria). Nidal's victims are also diminished by the niceties associated with denying the reality that our Nation is at war -- diminishing the nature of the attack diminishes the assistance available to them: Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
