We Americans indeed run around the world trying this and that, hoping for friendly responses, handing out top quality arms, spending tons (literally) of money we mostly borrow. Where will it end and how will it end? We can't withdraw from the world and we can't fix everyones problems. We may not be able to fix our own problems.
