Let them kill each other off

Dr. Pipes you are exactly right! Western involvement militarily in the Syrian civil war can only damage Western interests, whereas, letting the two sides fight it out damages Iranian and Hizballa interests, Al Quaida interests, and is making the Russian autocrat Putin look like a bloody handed monster by his support of the Assad dictatorship. I know this sounds cynical and cold, but I stand by it, the longer this Syrian civil war goes on the better for the West.
