Nature abhors a vacume

Let my enemies kill each other, may sound positive, but it does not work.

Eventually one group or another will triumph. As it now appears the two most likely victors both hate and remain enemies of Israel.

Granted that recent American interventions have been disastrous. Yet if Obama had proposed a positive policy two years ago and actively worked to shape the outcome, possibly a group might have triumphed which would be more favorable both to the United States and to Israel than what we are likely to see as a result of inaction.
