Spirituality in IslamReader comment on item: When Sunni and Shiite Extremists Make War Submitted by biccky (China), Jun 16, 2013 at 08:21 Hi Prashant, I do not think there is any spirituality in Islam. All the major religions of the world ie christianity, Judaism, the dharmic faiths of India, Zorastrianism, Confucianism, and Taoism have a concept called conscience. They believe in treating others just the way you want to be treated.Consience automatically needs to the idea of spirituality.Any truly spiritual person will shun violence But in Islam, the prophet is regarded as Insaan--e--khamil ie a role model for entire muslims. It is to be followed without question. Wonder why there are hardly any suicides in Islamic societies ? Only people who feel remorse due to their conscience commit suicide.
