Erdogan needs to go, hopefully there is a split in AKP. And I do hope it is achieved without a significant long term economic stagnation (don't mind a short term deep). Also final nail in the coffin of EU bid is also benefitial to Turkish democracy because it defangs any attempts to AKP to use the process to achieve their domination goals. Turkey was stagnant economy and society for too long. Sometimes I don't quite follow your agenda Mr Pipes. Some of your articles are full of anti-Muslim rhetoric (like Syrian logic, etc) and then suddenly there is quite piercing analysis of a situation. Can't call you Islamophobe at all, not sure what to call you.
