Will Israelis Be Subject to Palestinian Sharia Laws?Reader comment on item: Jews Living in Palestine? Submitted by Mike Ramirez (United States), Feb 6, 2014 at 11:13 While the "practicality" of allowing Jewish citizens to remain and reside in the West Bank under the proposed Two-State Solution, the probability exists that their status would automatically change under the Palestinian ruled area. Israelis in the West Bank would become second-class citizens, be subject to pay the Jizyah tax, and be subject to all restrictions imposed upon non-Muslims in accordance to Sharia Laws. Creating the Palestinian State automatically creates new boundaries and a new form of governance in the area that Jewish residents will need to abide by. The question then becomes whether Israeli citizens wishing to reside in the West Bank are willing to give up the rights that they now enjoy and subject themselves to Palestinian Rule and the Sharia Laws that would surely be enacted. ???
