Islamism

Excellent piece. Two quick points, humbly made by a layman:

Firstly, this is all part of the war against Islamism/jihadism/Islamofascism; only when/if that is "won" is this outcome possible.

Secondly, and excuse my loose terms and quote marks, but I hope the gist is conveyed: if "fundamentalist Muslims" become "equivalent" to Ultra-Orthodox Jews in being broadly able to co-exist with democratic, "liberal" values - and of course renouncing violence and anti-semitism, then would not the latter prefer to live in a Palestine with (for example) modestly dressed women, than in secular and "degenerate" Israel?
