Putting Palestinians on the spotReader comment on item: Jews Living in Palestine? Submitted by Bamaguje (Nigeria), Feb 9, 2014 at 12:08 Methinks Netanyahu's insistence on West bank Jews living peacefully under Palestinian rule, is a brilliant negotiation tactic intended to put Palestinians leaders on the spot... and expose them for what they really are - bigotted Jew hating racists. Netanyahu's stance should be promoted to its logical conclusion, as it tactfully exposes the big politically correct lie that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a territorial dispute. For too long Israel has been badmouthed as an apartheid state, despite the fact she has Arab citizens who enjoy full citizenship rights - just like Jews. Now the pressure is on the other foot... for the Palestinians to prove their good faith and reciprocate. What more, the ill-informed loudmouthed pro-Palestinian Westerners are also put on the spot. If they are not driven by antisemitism, they have no choice but to support Netanyahu's reasonable demand. On Israel's part, failure of Palestinians to guarantee security of West bank Jews (Palestinian will never agree), strengthens Israel's position to hang on to Judea & Samaria indefinitely.
