You said it! This is how Israel can thwart any proposed two-state solution and keep the West Bank in a death grip.

If the Palestinian Arabs want the region Likud calls "Judea and Samaria" it will come with hundreds of thousands of bitterly hostile Jewish "settlers" in the same package. These fanatics will denounce any Israeli government that agrees a settlement with the Palestinian Authority--right up until they scream for IDF protection after the inevitable incidents between them and citizens of a now sovereign Palestine.
