Israel can't defeat Ai. Not won't -- CAN'TReader comment on item: The West Lacks a Plan Submitted by Michael S (United States), Aug 26, 2014 at 11:01 I couldn't give three shakes of a rat's tail, what the "West"'s plan is or isn't. The West is going to hell in a handbasket, and refuses to be swayed fromit. I am interested, instead, in Israel's apparent lack of a plan, of a vision, of a self-identity. How often must I come back from vacation to stories like this:
This, after over a month of fighting, trying to conquer a mini-township called Gaza, which is all of four miles wide????? I've seen a lot of prophecies bandied about here, and I'm mentioned a few myself. After Israel's continuing dismal performance, let me say there is only one prophecy applicable to Israel: Joshua 7 [4] So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai. The Jewish people are self-confident, thinking they can do anything, and that they only stop short of it out of their "superior humanity", and their desire to "fix the world". BS! Israel is WEAK! And it is weak because it has forgotten God, and relies on its own strenth (and that of America -- the 21st century "bruised reed"). Repent and return to the God of Abraham, before a worse calamity befally you. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
