ARAB CULTURE and let's not forget the U.S. involvement

How I agree with you, Mr. Pipes, re Egypt takes over Gaza. They've lived through the MB and Hamas' destructive influence and they know how these people operate.

I have a friend who is in the Egyptian Army and we communicate when he's back home for a few days. The Egyptian Army will not tolerate Hamas and are well familiar with their machinations. The added advantage is Egypt is high-majority muslim, thus no Western interference, therefore credibility. This is the only solution since Hamas is also a threat to Egyptians and El Sissi has proven himself to be quite the negociator.

As to Erdogan, well... ISIS' s caliphate ends at Turkey's border. Kind of says it all.

I believe the U.S., through Obama and McCain, gave a helping hand in propulsing ISIL. Obama and Erdogan are good friends and Erdogan capitalized on Obama's overall incompetency.
