Saudi oilfields
Reader comment on item: Criticisms of the U.S.-led Air Campaign against ISIS

Suppose IS grows to the point where it can confront Saudi Arabia, as it surely intends sooner or later, and threatens the Saudi oilfields.
What happens then? I wonder what Dr Pipes thoughts are on this.

I simply can't imagine ISIS being seriously able to confront the Saudi Arabian military.
