Keeping the eye on the ball: IranReader comment on item: Criticisms of the U.S.-led Air Campaign against ISIS Submitted by Dean M (United States), Oct 1, 2014 at 22:29 My remarks were not made as an attack. They were made to address why concern for Iran is playing second fiddle to concern for ISIS. An ad hominem argument is not necessarily invalid. If it is factual and relates to the topic, then it should be consideredt. But really, the ad hominem attack is coming from you, my friend. Three of your fingers are pointing back to you. You appear to want to dismiss my "factoids" rather than deal with them. (Reminds me of the old Perry Mason series when DA Berger would jump and say, "I object on the grounds that the argument is incompetent, irrelevant and immaterial!" Then the judge would say, "Objection overruled!") Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
