John Bolton interview

Hi, Tovey.

I can't psychoanalyze Barack H. Obama. He's simply an enemy, someone out to destroy God's people and everything I hold dear. I don't want to understand him; I just want to stay out of his clutches and do what I can to live a peaceful, Godly life.

Meanwhile, I thought it good to look into what's on our plate next:

[12] And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

We've had plenty of that happening lately -- big earthquakes, eclipses and what seems like a record number of blood moons....

[13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

"Stars", as we know them, is obviously a bad translation. I believe it's talking about comets, meteors, etc. I've seen some spectacular comets and meteor showers, but I think the big one is yet to come...

[14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

I definitely haven't seen that yet. This sounds like something new -- multiple earthquakes, coupled with darkness from the ash.

[15] And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

I'd like to see that! Coming soon, in the rich and famous near you...

[16] And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
[17] For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

That's next. I expect the naysayers will blame it all on Global Warming. Human nature hasn't changed, since the days of Pharaoh.

I see that the Pope has made a treaty with an imaginary Palestinian state. I guess the Catholic Church has been bought by Disneyland. I wonder if Abbas will be wearing "Mickey Mouse" ears for the signing.

Israel is working on getting some surface ships from Germany -- bigger than what they have now, as I recall, so they can keep them on station to defend the oil rigs against the Turks. That's good news. I'd also like Israel to work on clandestine "tenders" for their vessels, so they can extend their reach to the whole world. Deterrence is Israel's only real practical hope in the coming struggles.

That's a good headline; although it doesn't describe this interview with John Bolton very well. John doesn't seem to think it's "for show" at all. He thinks the Iranians are on the verge of stirring up lots of trouble, now that they see how "on the rocks" Obama's relations with the Saudis are. But do the Iranians want to stir up a "Mavi Marmara" incident? I think that's unlikely. As odd as this may sound, I think of the Iranians as too sane for that. They want to ultimately wipe the Jewish state off the map, and the Jews with it; but I don't see them into theater for theater's sake, the way the Gazan Arabs are at times.

I'm tired... must go to bed. Thanks for posting. You're always a good read.
