THERE'S NO MONEY IN SOLUTIONS!Reader comment on item: Finally Getting Serious about Identifying Islamists? Submitted by UNCLE VLADDI (Canada), May 26, 2016 at 17:05 Re: "What will it take for the United States to realize that political correctness is the key to it's downfall. How many more Americans must die before their politicians realize it" (?) They already realize it, but, as politicians, their motto has always been: Both political parties are happy when the other wins, because then the "threat" remains, by which they can bilk their donors out of endless funds to "help fix the problems" the others cause - but no problems ever seem to get fixed, and that *especially* includes the mortal-danger type (most threatening) ones. They're really only ever all about: "PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY - AGAIN!!!" As Kissinger said regarding the Israel-Egypt problem, more or less: "I can't help you unless you give me an eternal crisis to exploit, not a mere problem to be solved." They don't want to solve themselves out of their jobs. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
