Indian interests are subservient to human interestsReader comment on item: Did the CIA Fiddle With Population Statistics about Iran? Submitted by Prashant, Jan 16, 2018 at 18:04 Dear Dr Pipes, your reader Debanjan Banerjee (who in the past came up with the idea that Israel should settle Syrian refugees inside her territory) suggested to me that Indian interests like getting a land route to central Asia are more important than what Debanjan termed as 'insignificant issues' like Iran protecting her minorities and becoming a secular pluralistic democracy. No, Mr Banerjee, the world is sick and tired of Islamic republics that it contains. Islamic theocracies around the world are not 'insignificant issues'. They are the most significant issues. What Muslims take for granted around the world and demand more and more of, they must offer to non-Muslims in the lands controlled by them. That is it. No ifs and/or buts. No Indian interest is more important than this issue. Is it too difficult to understand and appreciate?
