Why is it such a problem for Iran if it has various ethnic minorities? I understand that a lot of leading mullahs are Azeri Turks rather than Persian. I have not heard that the Arabs in Khuzestan want to secede. Also, what about groups like Mazandarani or Talysh-speaking people? Shi'ite Kurds (such exists)? Are they counted as minority?
