Turkey, Russia, China sliding deeper into dictatorship

The slide into dictatorship continues in Russia, China and Turkey:

This resembles the situation in Europe in the 1930s, when the chief dictators were Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini. "Dictatorship" is not, of itself, and ideology; but if we adopt "Freedom" as our ideological mainstay, it does stand in opposition to it. We have, of course, been steadily losing freedom in the West as well; but there is still a discernible difference between us and the new Tyrants' Club.

War is coming soon, it seems, in neighborhoods everywhere.

As important as these developments are for our lives, they don't play a prominent part in Bible prophecy. The pertinent verses would be:

Matt. 24:
[6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
[7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
[8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.

"See that ye be not troubled".
