Hello, Tovey, are you there?Reader comment on item: NATO's Turkey Challenge Submitted by Michael S (United States), Jun 2, 2018 at 11:43 Hello, Tovey, are you there? I want to know how you reason out this matter. You put great stock in the saying, that "the word became flesh and dwelt among us". I countered that, while this saying is certainly true, it does not say that Jesus IS the word of God. After all, Jesus himself said, John 14: That makes it very clear, that Jesus is NOT God; but rather, that God (= "the Father") lives IN Jesus. Jesus is the house; God is the inhabitant; just as all believers are collectively called the "house of God". Concerning Adam, his flesh was of the same nature as ours, and the same as Jesus'. There is nothing in the scriptures to refute this. Therefore, what say you to my question? You said that Jesus had to be God; otherwise, he could not have been tempted. Say what? Please explain yourself. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
